This app helped me out alot really with the alphabet but my favorite 2 things in their is the quiz and the structure

I love this app..

there's so many things wrong with this app. one: you can't hear the pronunciations properly because the computers voice is weird. two: you have to pay for basically everything on the stupid app. and three: having the romanized version of the korean word doesn't help with learning. it just makes it more difficult to learn hangul.

I'm only giving one star because the quizzes results are wrong. Even the answers I wrote were correct, it still shows that it was wrong. I wish I could send a screen shot.

It's not the best, but it did help me with memorizing how the letters are written. Give it a try, maybe it will work for you.

Great app!!

This app tries to help you learn pronunciation by giving an example of an English word that makes the sound of the Korean vowel. Every single word doesn't sound anything like the audio of the Korean vowel. For example, the Korean vowel that's a vertical line. The audio makes an 'ee' sound, like eel. The English approximation given is 'fish'. No native English speaker, American or British, says 'feesh'. I can't trust this app to get anything right if the one thing I can judge without knowing any Korean is wrong. I don't even know whether the audio or the English word is wrong, just that one of them is. I will definitely not be using this to study. I would probably learn things wrong.

I learned Hangul in under a month using this app and it's perfect for a periodic refresher if you don't use it everyday. You still should learn to write it on paper because it looks different in handwriting.

Easy to use and a fast way to learn the alphabet. The quizzes are the ones that helped memorize the vowels. I'm satisfied with this app. Works really well.

Exactly what the app says it is. It teaches you the basics of Hangeul. I learned fairly quickly and the quizzes are good to test yourself.

I was already familiar with some aspects of Korean being a KPop fan, but I wanted to learn properly, so I downloaded this and other apps. This app is definitely the best for getting started!! The easy to follow charts are great and having both a multiple choice and fill in the blank quiz options have helped my memorization soooo much!!! Even just starting out, I feel like I've already gotten a huge head start on things and I haven't even paid for the full app yet!

Not even the best app and they want me to pay $9.99 for this. Lol

Very helpful for reviewing vowels and consonants. There is a section called Syllable and it combines consonants and vowels and pronounces it for you. It is very helpful, however, it doesn't have the double consonants or the diphthongs. That would be truly make the app amazing.

I learned to read Hangul with this~ it works if you study ^^*

I decided on a whim to learn Korean but had no idea where to even start. The other apps I found all assumed I already knew the alphabet and started trying to teach me full on words and phrases. This app has already helped me so much but teaching me the basics so I have a foundation to start on. Love it! The tables with the different vowel/consonant combos are very helpful too!

I've tried so many apps to learn Hangul, but this was definitely the best! I recommend it to everyone. It is super easy with a bunch of options, and it's so quick to learn! Best one so far! Good job to the creators!

Since i updated it. I cant get anything to work... The screen shows the options, but i cant select anything

This app is amazing. It's simple to understand and easy to learn. I just started using it and I already love it ! If you want to learn how to write,read & talk in Korean then this is the app for you . It's much better then any other apps that I have tired. :) I'm satisfied with it.

Well hangeul 101 was what I needed. I practiced and practiced with the app and I have a perfect score when I take the quizzes!! :3 yehet!

I didn't like this app because it relies too much on romanization for learning. Instead of spending so much time romanizing, for learning Korean I suggest you simply write down all the Hangul and memorize them over three days. Then download and use a vocabulary app (e.g. WordPower) that displays the words in Hangul. You'll learn to read quickly, and will be memorizing actual Korean words.

For someone not Asian, Asian languages are a maze of curios symbols. Your app is great for taking out much of the mystery in Korean symbols. Great Job!

(1) Definitely needs some sort of tutorial. ie. on the various UI items, and how to best use the app to learn. As is, you're on your own to figure out what to do. (2) app shouldn't restart at the beginning every time I exit. Should remember what screen I'm on. (3) developer should disable spell checking for text field during tests, makes entering characters more difficult otherwise. Good start, but room for improvement.

의 is not pronounced 으 + 이. 의 is pronounced 에.

This app is a lifesaver. It gives memorable pronunciation guides and quizzes to test you on it. I was struggling with memorization, especially with vowels, but this app turned me around and i learned the whole alphabet in a weekend!!!!!!!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘 to this app :)

I don't know why people are rating this so highly. I did not learn from this app at all. It is not worth the price. The pronunciations, even by the computer, are terrible. This program looks like it was thrown together quickly to make a few bucks. There is little to no instruction.

I'm trying to study, so please stop interrupting me with ads for games.
