Hangeul 101 - Learn Korean Alphabet App Reviews

Yay, a hangeul app w/ audio! My only criticism is, Id like to not rely on romanization. If there could be an option that removes it, if only for the quiz portion, I would pay for this app.

Yay finally found this. Exactly what I needed to help memorize all the consonants & vowels on the go!

This app was so helpful! I could practice my Jamo endlessly and I think I can write few sentences in Korean. :o)

Really useful. Perfect for memorizing sounds. Mini tests are useful in gauging your knowledge.

Always had trouble with the combination vowels, so its nice to get it to review. easy and simple to use

it took me 4 days with this app to learn how to write and read hangeul! im surprised how such a simple app can be effective! (all i need to do now is to actually learn the language)

This app is really effective! It took me 2 or 3 days to learn Korean! 사랑해!!!

I wanted to here the consonants and the app said pay me...so I did. After paying the app says sorry sucker no audio available, you paid for nothing! And the voices are computer not human! Scam

A perfect tool for learning Hangul. This app makes it easy enough for a child to learn jamo! Although, I think it is best suited for frantic college students who must suddenly learn a foreign writing system and language at the same time. :)

This is a simple, but great app for learning Hangul. The different types of testing (multiple choice or "fill in the blank") are helpful for drilling yourself and making sure youve really got the letters down.

First time opening this, it took me to an ad. Not only this, but I kept getting interrupted with ads as I tried to navigate around and figure the app out. Needless to say, I have deleted it and moved on to something else-- plain ol flash cards. They work 100x better than this.

nice set up for learning. visual and sound learning at same time. quizzes for practice. just with consonants cane with sounds too like vowels best app to begin learning korean

I dont know why people are rating this so highly. I did not learn from this app at all. It is not worth the price. The pronunciations, even by the computer, are terrible. This program looks like it was thrown together quickly to make a few bucks. There is little to no instruction.

This app is a lifesaver. It gives memorable pronunciation guides and quizzes to test you on it. I was struggling with memorization, especially with vowels, but this app turned me around and i learned the whole alphabet in a weekend!!!!!!!!!

의 is not pronounced 으 + 이. 의 is pronounced 에.

(1) Definitely needs some sort of tutorial. ie. on the various UI items, and how to best use the app to learn. As is, youre on your own to figure out what to do. (2) app shouldnt restart at the beginning every time I exit. Should remember what screen Im on. (3) developer should disable spell checking for text field during tests, makes entering characters more difficult otherwise. Good start, but room for improvement.
